Surrounded by West Hollywood and the city of Los Angeles, Beverly Hills is located in the Los Angeles County in the state of California. With a population of 34,658 as of 2013, Beverly Hills was incorporated back in 1914 when water instead of oil was discovered by the investors that originated an opportunity of converting the entire area into a town. Being a home to a number of popular and notable personalities which may include and are not confined to Markus Persson, Ellen DeGeneres, Melissa Rivers, and Lisa Vanderpump, Beverly Hills have an entire Rodeo Drive shopping district that gives an immensely amusing experience of shopping regardless of what you are looking for.

If you are looking forward to move to Beverly Hills, it is certainly going to be a great decision to say the least. Looking for luxury real estate in Beverly Hills has many benefits.

Electric Fountain – Created in 1911, a narrow, two mile park of lawns and gardens, runs the complete length of Beverly Hills. Beverly Gardens, as the park is named, is interspersed with a rose garden, ornate park benches, a lily pond, a unique cactus garden, tall trees, and on the southwest end (at the busy intersection of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards) is the “Electric Fountain.” The Electric Fountain got its name because of its wonderful changing lights and water, timed to change approximately every 8 minutes.

Conceived in the late 20’s and inaugurated in 1931, built on land donated by the Rodeo Land and Water Company and funded by the Beverly Hills Woman’s Club, the Electric Fountain was designed by the architect Ralph Carlin Flewelling with the frieze and sculpture at the top being designed by sculptor/artist Robert Merrell Gage. Indeed Gage has been called “the American sculptor,” leaving behind a large and excellent body of work depicting the stories of the western struggle and the lives of heroes of the American soul.

Greystone Mansion – A historic site with a storied past, is tucked away in the hills and often overlooked. The mansion and spectacular gardens are home to some of the most elegant special events hosted throughout the year in the City of Beverly Hills.

Greystone has become a premier destination event site for weddings, photography shoots, corporate retreats and other private functions. Long an iconic site for motion picture and television shoots, Greystone Mansion has been featured in dozens of films, including The Big Lebowski, Spiderman, The Social Network, Ghostbusters and There Will Be Blood.

Women’s Club – Established in 1916 by the collaborative efforts of Beverly Hills society women, the Beverly Hills Women’s Club was built on the vision to explore intellectual ideas, literature, the arts, and philanthropic efforts. It was conceived in the spirit of Americanism at the height of World War I. From its inception, the BHWC has thrived as a vibrant entity offering programs that enrich both its members and society at large. The Beverly Hills Women’s Club is a Landmark building listed on the National and California Registry of Historic Places.
