Parts of California are seeing a boom in luxury residencies geared towards senior living. With the population of seniors increasing, the taste of the luxury life doesn’t have to be comprised as one gets older.

Fine dining, workout rooms, day spas and golf courses are now appearing in assisted living buildings and residents are enjoying the upgrades. As with most finer things in life, the cost is high. The cost varies from place to place and from which amenities residents are to enjoy.

Rates at Carmel Village at Clovis start around $3,200 a month which includes supportive health services. It also includes three meals a day, utilities, weekly housekeeping including flat linen service, activities and covers the cost of maintenance around the development. Of course residents are responsible for things like cable and phone services.
